I am 19 - but when I was 14 I tried a few times to shave down below. Each time I had severe discomfort - like a rash for about 2-3 days. Is there any other way I can get rid of this? At the moment my hair goes way past the bikini line”

i feel it doesnt really matter us guys tend to like everything to do with our girlfreinds i often find my girlfreinds are allot more concerned about it than i am, of course girls get hair down their its only porn stars that shave it off all the time and even then allot of men prefer it natural. whatever you choose your boyfreind would be stupid and a wee bit nieve to not enjoy you for the woman you are.”

Hun, seriously dont be worried, thats just silly. we all get a little bit hairy sometimes. Just keep it undercontrol.. you should have to shave or make and effort, your boyfriend should like you, for you. Not weather you have hair or not.”

From all these comments (and my own case) i guess it's normal to have hair back there.
I just don't like it: it get's itchy and on the way and it makes me feel extremely uncomfortable during the summer and when I have my period. So I just wax it when it grows back. It hurts a lot but it's totally worth feeling clean and sexy.
About my boyfriends hair, honestly, I couldn't care less, as long as he isn't uncomfortable and it doesn't make him feel embarassed.”

i complained about shaving and waxing to my boyfriend so just so he could go through it too, he shaved, he then understood how much i couldn't be bothered and now doesn't mind hair at all, just make sure your man realises it get quite annoying that we put lots of effort in to look good for them when all they have to do is go for a shower xxx”

it is completely normal hunny, i worried about this when i was younger, i shave mine when it needs shaving off, not to please my boyfriend because he loves me the way i am, its because it can sometimes be uncomfortable n i can sometimes trap the hair in my underwear x x x”

I think most of us worry about our downstairs hair now and again =) I wax all my hair off fairly regularly as that's what my boyfriend and I prefer but he always says as long as I'm not as hairy as him he doesn't mind! I say leave it unless it's really bothering you -chances are he won't even notice!”

I feel your pain girls, but you've got to look at it this way:
It's all well and good to want to make your guy happy, but they can't expect us to put up with all this waxing and shaving without giving anything in return. How shocked would they be if we suggested they have a shave for a change?
And you also have to remember that if you're with the right kind of guy, he will care about you and want you to be comfortable. I certainly am not willing to put up with the discomfort and hassle of shaving or waxing for any guy, and the right kind of guy will understand that.”

im a 17 guy im not a virgin and i think that whatever you and your partner are comfortable with is the best soultion. if you become in a relationship where sex is happening talk to them about it. most of the time its individual opinions that matter. my girlfriend used to wax everything until she came over last minute and wasn't prepared for sex and i said to her its nicer, now she only gets a bikini wax kit and does the sides when we're on holiday. its up to you and your partner whatever natural.”

I would really like an honest answer from a guy if it is a turn off to have hair down there. I'm a virgin so I don't know. But you are not alone with that problem.
