  1. When i was pregnant sex for me went out the window, i think me and my partner had sex 3 times in 9 months and we used to have sex 2/3 times a day!! I was sectioned with my baby so after she was born i was told not to try sex for up to 6 weeks and thats when i wanted it most! Our sex lives will never be the same 1. because we now have a child and 2. not havin sex for such a long time has, not put me off but im not as interested as i was.”

  2. i'm 6 months pregnant and am experiencing a drop in my sex drive rather than the increase suggested by pregnancy books. Although my partner and i still have great sex regularly he worries about hurting the baby and i always feel a bit guilty like i should be more responsible with my child in the room. Which is silly because the baby isn't aware of whats going on.”

  3. I actually had my first orgasm after i first fell pregnant, i'd always had problems with this...i was 24 and married, almost given up and thought i just wasnt designed to have one. Just goes to show you should never give up trying, i was amazed when it finally happened. It don't think it was my pregnancy that caused it but i have had plenty since!”

  5. When i was pregnant with my son i wanted to have sex more than anything. As the bump grew, we had to get more adventurous in our choice of positions. we found that standing up helped, and sex in the bath helps to take the pressure off the woman because the bump becomes weightless.
I asked the doctor about sex during pregnancy and they said it was perfectly ok, and doesnt harm the baby in any way. In fact, sex is a well known method of bringing on late arrivals, along with going on a bumpy ride, eating spicy food and drinking castor oil.”

  6. I had little interest in the first 6 months. Towards the end of my pregnancy, I was so horny!! I was begging my husband to help out a bit as I was too big to properly reach myself. When he finally got over his concerns about it, we didtry (in the spoon position with me leaning more forward) and then had sex every day for the week until I finally gave birth. Best sex I ever had!”

  10. The entire time I was pregnant, I was crazy for sex, I just couldn't get enough. I really felt if I didn't have sex I would go out and kill someone. That is how much pregnancy affected my sex drive. ”

  14. I have two children and during my first pregnancy i totally went off sex, i couldnt even bare the thought of it. with my second i felt completely different and we had regular sex throughout. i think this is probably due to the fact that with my first i was very ill and was much healthier with my second.”

  17. Sex during pregnancy is a bit awkward! Not only do you feel sick and fat and massive and possibly suffering from heartburn but the bump gets in the way!!
All my partner did was worry about the baby so it was'nt really that enjoyable for either one of us.”

The actual intricacies of trying to get your stomach into any position whatsoever that is comfortable enough to be able to shag, is almost impossible. ”
