  1. I'm 24/f, masturbation is really important to me as a stress reliever. I like to have my partner listen or watch, great fun and brings us closer.”

  2. ... It's clear I have a high sex drive but have never felt emotionally ready for sex. I worry about pregnancy or STI's. Men talk about masturbation but for women it's unacceptable... I think masturbation is a way to know what pleases you and shouldn't be taboo especially for women...”

  3. I am female and masturbate most days. I reach orgasm 9/10 times. I was curious the first time as I got horny and that was the first time at around 12 years old. Since that night, I've carried on and got the best feeling each time. I usually do it twice a day. Once at night and other in the afternoon.”

  4. To 27 year old woman [Oct 24th 6:52]
Although I'm 9 years younger than you, I understand; I'm kind of even in the same boat myself...
From about 12/13 - 16 masturbation never bothered me, it was just something that felt great, but then I started to view it, for some reason as a kind of guilty pleasure. I'm not religious either, nor would I say I've ever had bad sexual experience, but at several points throughout my adolescence I have been depressed and quite often confused about my sexuality. In my personal experience these things have most probably contributed [and anti-depressants are definitely not renowned as 'aphrodisiacs'...!] but when I do masturbate it's usually because something’s given my libido a kick or I'm in a more comfortable situation (e.g. home alone or it's really early in the morning...)
So in my conclusion I don't think anything's wrong with you. Masturbation gets considered such a massive taboo anyway - without this cover of anonymity I've never really talked about it... I don't know if I'm in a position to offer advice, but set some time for yourself and- explore. If it helps maybe do that exploration with a partner - find what it is, physically, that is personally arousing for you and if you're comfortable try that some time by yourself.
    Take care.”

  5. Its a average day thing for people my age(15), we joke about it, and ask each other about it, its as normal as my ma ask "how was school"
There is nothing to be ashamed of it, its a way to release sexual tention with out getting a STD.”

  6. I think masturbation is very important as you get to explore your body and know what you like and what turns you on. i used to feel uncomfortable at the start but once i used to get into it, i loved it. As soon as i got older i would laugh about it with friends and realised that i was not the only one would did it.”

  7. I am a 27 year female who finds the whole masturbation thing weird. I have tried but feel really self conscious, which is rediculous as its only me! It makes me feel guilty, I am not religious and have never had any bad sexual experiences... what is wrong with me?”

  8. I'm 17 and female as well. Masturbation is a big part of my life, even when I have a partner and am having sex. I have never been able to orgasm with a guy, even when they spend ages on me. My current partner is older than me and a LOT more experienced, and yet he still can't make my orgasm. Does anyone else have this problem? He keeps asking me what he can do for me, but it's too embarrassing to verbally guide someone through what you enjoy. In response to what another girl said on here, yes they do need to learn more about oral sex! It can be very painful. Less pointy tongues lads! We're delicate :)”

  9. I'm 17 and female. I masturbate on a regular basis. It seems that I might be unusual in the sense that i don't think many girls do, but honestly it is THE best thing in the world if you don't have a boyfriend. Often at my age boys are useless anyway so might as well go solo;) I'm interested to know if any other girls do it? It's natural, and man, it is great! Plus any guys should learn a bit more about oral sex cause in my opinion most am them are awful and normally...painful: (”

  11. i started when i was 12 and since then i usually get about 3 or 4 a day in,although thats getting harder now that im pushing 40,the trouble is i have to have one when i wake up,i usually have one at work, and i usually have one before i go to bed,ive done it in most of my friends houses, public toilets,on a train, wherever, just the sight of a good looking woman can get me going and thinking about my next one,its like an addiction, you just cant stop, and there certainly isnt the help groups like there are for giving up fags and booze or drugs,so as pleasurable as it is,although never as much so as the first time,it is a curse as well and i feel it rules my life”

  12. I started to masturbate at age 13 after being told about it from friends who had started to do it. I regularly masturbated every day particularly when I went to bed as an aid to get to sleep. I used an old sock to catch my cum so as not to stain the sheet. When I got married I was 25 years and found that after I had sex with my wife at night time I still had the need to masturbate in the morning. I am now 69 years and masturbate at least twice a week and still produce a good amount of cum. I was told all sorts of things would happen to me if I continued to do it but I have had 56 years of mainly masturbating most days at least once and have a good healthy life. So to the young ones just starting out there is no need to worry about what "may happen to you". ”

  13. I cant end the day without masturbating...its like an urge that needs to be taken care of and if your a lad you will get what I am talking about.”

Your sex life is for each other, you give yourself to the other person, and masturbation is very kind of, self indulgent, you kind of do that for your own pleasure.”
