This video demonstrates the correct way to put on a condom. And just as importantly, how to safely remove one.

Your Experiences

  • Me and my boyfriend are both 16 and have tried to have sex a few times, but whenever he puts a condom on he loses his erection, is there anything we can do to keep it without not using one?

  • well basically im with my boyfriend who i lost my virginity to, and there was one time where the condom came off but we didnt notice, so i had to go and get the pill and ever since then i'v been paranoid. I had to go and get the pill on a school day as well only to make sure. Thats how paranoid i am, when i was in the clinic i spoke to a woman and she told me about other ways of contraception without my parents knowing, i contacted my GP and now im doing the injection every 3 months this means i wouldn't have to worry about the condom, obviously we would still use it though.

  • When I was 16 I was having unprotected sex with my boyfriend regularly. The scariest moment of my life was when my period was nearly a week late. After that I went straight on the pill and have never done it without a condom since, it isn't worth it!
