I'd liked and been seeing this guy for about 3 months, we got together and we did it about a month after we started dating. We had talked about it the week before we did it, and we'd decided to wait a little while, but the next weekend we got tipsy and it just kind of happened. Ive been with him for a year now and im still really happy. I wish i hadn't been tipsy but at least i was with somebody i could trust. He was 20 and had plenty of experience, so he was gentle and sweet with me. I was 16 at the time and i'm still happy with him...he makes me feel happy, safe and loved :) I'm 17 and he is 21 now. We always use contraception”

I lost my virginity when I was 18, just before I started university. It happened with a guy friend of mine, who I had known for a couple of years but had started 'seeing' over the last 2 or months.
To be honest, it wasn't planned on my part and was probably the most unromantic first time you could imagine. He invited me around to watch a film, and half way through, what started out as a kiss led to a one thing and then another. I was completely caught off guard and even remember laughing half way through (which im sure he wasn't too please about) because i had no idea what i was meant to be doing!
I'm glad a lost it with him, because although he wasn't my first love, he was a good friend and i still think of him fondly.”
