“I mean a coupla bottles of wine, and we’ve had some great sex where inhibitions have gone, fell off the end of the bed, done all sorts of things we don’t normally do, and then the morning after…”

“We always say that we move in different ways. I go up and down, this is what me husband says, up and down, depending on, where you are or what’s going on.”
Have you ever slept with more than one person at the same time?
“Bearing in mind I was 17 when we got married, Dave was 20, and it was sort of a phase that we went through. ”
What gets you in the mood for sex?
“Before I lost the weight, I didn’t like being touched because I was too big, and now I don’t like being touched because I could build another person off the excess skin.”
“I told me husband before we got married that I had no intention of ever having any children, so I hoped that he never wanted any children cause this wouldn’t feature in our life whatsoever.”
How did you feel when you found out you were pregnant?
“I’d no idea, absolutely no idea, of just what a difference that would make to my life.”
How did you tell your partner you were pregnant?
“This was pre the days where you’d go and buy your pregnancy test, you had to go actually to the doctors and have a test, and you had to wait for it to come back.”
What was sex like during pregnancy?
“It’s virtually impossible to have sex in the same position, so you have to adopt different positions, and that’s probably backwards or something like that!”
How did sex change after the birth of your first child?
“With the first child I had post-natal depression, and it didn’t affect me where my sex life dipped, in fact I wanted more sex, and that I think was for reassurance.”

“When I was very ill and I went off sex, his sex drive didn’t go up, it stayed the same…”
