That's completely down to personal opinion. For example; my boyfriend is particularly shy and isn't very confident, so he likes ME to take charge...so he prefers the cow-girl position so that I control the pace with him only taking part when he's comfortable enough. However, I like to be able to 'feel' exactly what's going on inside me at all times; so I am a fan of the appropriately named, Doggy-style.
For first timers, I can only recommend missionary though. It gives fairly equal control to both parties involved and allows for a much slower pace with less resistance, making it more comfotable and easier in the process (although hipbones can be the cause of a sharp pain in your hips. This fades with practice).

the flower press position is when the women lies on her back and the man penetrates her, she can rest her legs on his shoulders :)

depends on how your sex life is, some girls like to be dominated whereas some like to be in control (reverse/cowgirl), many different positions are there for each personal preference for example if you like to be dominated, doggy style is pretty good. Whereas if it is your first time i encourage plain missionary and if you are with your partner and want to have intimate sex this is also good.

I believe the best position has to be women lying on her front with her legs up on her mans shoulders and the man holding her hips pounding her hard.

to me doggy-style has to be the best! my boyfriends quite dirty so he makes it interesting! for instance, i like being tied up and my bum slapped, everyones different! take control and show them who's boss! girls find that attractive!
