When I was 17 I tried sex with a girl to solve my curiosities, it might work the same for you, you just got to look for somebody in the same situation or willing to help you, although me and my friend tried it we didn't talk for 9 - 10months afterwards because it was awkward, but we are REALLY close friends now.
It made me realise I was more than definitely straight. I do find kissing women and looking at the female body very attractive, a lot of women do, I know most of my friends would happily watch a female stripper as much as they would a male stripper, it's just out of curiosity, men are the same, although I don't believe they would admit it, but it's perfectly natural to be curious. But you're only 17 you got plenty of years to figure out what you are and have fun. Safe fun that is.

Hi, I'm bi, and I knew a girl who worried about the exact same thing, and now she's my girlfriend. But a lot of teenagers experiment and are confused; at the end of the day, it's not who you're attracted to, it's who you fall in love with. There's nothing wrong with being attracted to both sexes - it doubles the prospect of getting a date! You may end up meeting a girl who you fall for, or you may end up in 10 years married to a man wondering what on earth you were worrying about, it doesn't matter. You don't need to put a label on it for it to mean something. Just be honest with yourself, that's the most important thing. Good luck :)

I think that sexuality is more likely to be determined by the gender of the person you fall in love with rather than who you have good sex with. If you are regularly more attracted emotionally to people of the same sex then it is fairly likely that you are gay. I remember seeing George Michael being interviewed and when asked about all the girls he'd slept with, he actually said that although he had some great sex with women it was not until he fell in love with another man that he finally realised and accepted that he was gay.
