Question

I have had a vaginal itching problem for a week now. Apart from seeing a doctor, is there any other immediate measure that you can suggest me?

  • sounds like thrush, when i had it i went to gp and was told best way to treat it is canestan due, a tablet to get rid and a cream to stop the itching, but remember if you hav a bf he will hav it too although he might not hav any symptoms, tell him to use the cream too or he'll keep giving it back to you.

  • You probably have thrush, its a very comon yeast infection and can be brought on by using highly perfumed soaps or feminine hygiene wipes. It is easily treated with cream and a tablet which you can ge from the Chemist. If that doesnt work I would see the doctor.

  • Sounds like you have thrush.. If your a bit embarrassed about seeing the doctor then ask to see your praction nurse.. chances are she's had thrush herself at some point.. all she'll do is prescribe some caneston cream or a tablet.. Its nothing major..
